 Cricket Tour to France
Who would have thought of going to France on a cricket tour? Well, with our help now you can - real cricket too, none of this French Cricket malarkey!
This is a tour for groups who’ve enjoyed their share of stag tours to Amsterdam but now fancy something more civilized centered around great food, fine wine and good company - a laid back tour, a rest rather than a roust.
We’ve found teams made up largely of expats with a sprinkling of locals who are absolutely gagging for more games of ‘real’ cricket so the prospect of hosting touring teams has been greatly received. We offer two cricket tours in France - enjoy the quiet ancient countryside of deepest Brittany or choose the Midi Pyrénées, the home of d’Artagnan and the Cadets of Gascony and maybe even play on a ground overlooked by a magnificent Chateau!

Brittany is at the north westernmost tip of France where the Atlantic Ocean and English Channel meet and enjoys mild weather and micro-climatic conditions.
It also has the added benefit of being accessible from the UK by either air or sea. It’s difficult to resist Brittany and to escape being captivated by its charm - it’s a region that values its quirkiness and has a special personality all of its own.
This cricket tour takes you to Morbihan which is the middle of the five departments that form the region of Brittany and our recommended hotel is in Josselin, a lovely old fortified town with its very own Chateau. |

Midi-Pyrénées in the south west of France is the largest of all the French regions - located between the Atlantic and the Mediterranean it is often referred to as "the region where the living is good".
Our tour takes you to the Gers, otherwise known as Gascony. Its attraction is its empty roads, undulating landscape of vineyards, orchards, and fields, and its stunning views of the Pyrenees.
Our hotel is in Auch, a charming medieval city and the historical capital of Gascony. The vast St Mary’s Cathedral has World Heritage status and the city also has many other architectural delights including a monumental staircase in the middle of which stands a statue of the most famous Gascon of all: D’Artagnan, Captain of the King’s Musketeers. |

Whether you choose Brittany or the Midi-Pyrénées you can expect a memorable tour at a leisurely pace, playing cricket off the beaten track in a tranquil setting with people who share your love of the game. Vive le cricket!
