Cricket Tour to IrelandThe country legendary for “the craic” also happens to be a burgeoning cricketing force with the two major cities of Cork and Dublin offering the opportunity for both good craic and good cricket.
 |
Opt for Dublin, one of Europe’s most thrilling capitals and you’ll experience a wonderful mix of history, culture and cool.
The Temple Bar district needs no introduction and with so many pubs you won’t know which way to turn. Dublin simply pulsates with energy while still retaining a warm, laid-back atmosphere.
Cricket in Dublin is well established and clubs in the area have hosted international and domestic cricket matches for over 75 years, including many of the worlds test playing nations, English county sides and in 1999 a World Cup Match between The West Indies and Bangladesh.

Choose Cork and you’ll see why it was chosen as European Capital of Culture in 2005 and is now regarded as one of the hottest city break destinations in Europe - excellent restaurants, chic bars and lively pubs, all with a strong local personality.
The cricket in Cork is good too but there are limited clubs and grounds so early booking is essential. A whisky distillery forms the boundary at one ground and whilst a tour is recommended it might be best to leave it for a free day or your game is sure to suffer.
