Cricket Tour to South Africa

The Rainbow Nation offers everything one could possibly want from a dream cricket tour - climate, culture, scenery, wildlife and above all, a passion for cricket.

Cricket is played to a high level but all standards can be accommodated and we also recommend playing against a township side so you come away from the tour having really been under the skin of South African culture.

Many of the grounds are situated amidst breathtaking scenery and there’s the chance to play on a wine farm or even a game reserve when you’ll hopefully see the big five – Lion, Leopard, Elephant, Rhino and Buffalo.  The term 'Big Five' was historically used when referring to the five most dangerous animals to hunt in South Africa, fortunately the term is now used to describe South Africa's most popular and exciting animals for spotting purposes only.

We recommend starting your tour in fabulous Cape Town before heading down the Garden Route and this combination should ensure that you and your group enjoy South Africa’s offerings to the max:

Cape Town highlights:

  • Trip up Table Mountain on the Cable Way
  • Tour of the Stellenbosch wine route
  • Boat trip to Robben Island
  • Tour of Newlands Cricket stadium

Garden Route highlights:

  • Hermanus (The greatest views of Whales giving birth on the planet – October time)
  • Game reserves
  • Elephant Park
  • Ostrich Farm (ride an Ostrich!)

As always we’ll listen to your wants and needs and provide an itinerary accordingly - you might want to include a stay in Johannesburg or Durban and we’ll be happy to incorporate your suggestions and offer advice where needed.
